Marie Simulator Software
Download all the files you need to assemble and run MARIE programs. For more information about the MARIE architecture please consult your textbook. Enclosed in this zip file are:
1. MarieSim.jar (executable jar file for the simulator)
2. MarieSource.jar (the source file for the simulator)
3. README.txt
4. MarieGuide.doc (a user's guide in WORD format)
5. MarieDP1.jar (executable Java jar file for the data path simulation)
6. QuickGuide.doc (a quick start guide in WORD format)

Note: MarieSim will not run on Mac OS Jaguar [10.2.8] under Java 1.4.1. Mac users must have Java 1.4.2 or higher, which means Mac OS Panther [10.3.4] (or higher).
- Windows users will need a program like WinZip to open these archives.
- Macintosh users will need Stuffit Expander. Make sure you download the latest version of Expander, as it only supports Zip archives in later versions (5.0 and more recent).
- Linux and other Unix users can use the command line utility unzip to open the archive.

Depending on your browser configuration, clicking on the links above may attempt to open the zip files in a browser window. To download to your computer rather than viewing in your browser, either right-click (Windows) or click-and-hold (Mac) on the links above. Then select "Save Target as..." or "Save Link as..." from the popup menu that appears. Choose a location on your computer to which to save the file, and hit OK or Save. You can then find the file on your computer using the Finder or Explorer and open the file up in the Winzip or Stuffit Expander program.
CAMERA Memory Tutorial Software
Download CAMERA, a memory tutorial software package that includes tutorials for direct mapped cache, fully associative cache, and set associative cache. The package also provides a tutorial on virtual memory and paging, including use of page tables and a TLB.
