Additional biographies, more information about some of the callouts, and updates that relate to ethical issues are available on this website. In addition, there are eLearning tools for the students that include a variety of exercises, including crossword puzzles based on key terms and concepts, animated flashcards that can be used to quickly review all of the important terms in each chapter, and Live Wire which provides links to online resources directly related to the computer science concepts covered in Computer Science Illuminated.

For additional reference we've also included PDF's of all of Jones and Bartlett Publisher's programming language chapters, including JavaScript, Alice, Perl, Python, and more. R. Mark Meyer's labs, Explorations in Computer Science, are also included on the website, as well as Nell Dale's C++ Language Essentials and Java Essentials.

Answers to the exercises are available for the instructor from the textbook's catalog page. Powerpoint® presentations and test items for each chapter are also available.
